Eureka – Pilot

December 29, 2007 //  by editor

Notice that, just after Marshal Carter follows Lowjack through the forrest before Taggart shoots Carter with the dart gun, when Carter raises his hand as he’s saying “This is the creepiest this I…” he’s got the dart in his hand.

Eureka – Purple Haze

December 29, 2007 //  by editor

Trivia time.  In Purple Haze, after the Sheriff breaks up the fight between Fargo and Seth Osbourne Fargo says to his beta fish “Warren, tonight we sleep like King’s.”  This is a reference to the Pilot episode.  Warren King was the head of Global Dynamics.

Look at the logo for GD in the pilot, it’s a rounded GD, but in the episodes it’s triangular.  And they have that cool lit sign in front of the building.

Eureka – Right as Raynes

December 28, 2007 //  by editor

Badge continuity.  When Carter is stuck to the fence at Osbourne’s Farm watch his badge which is somewhere around his left hand.  It’s above is hand, it’s way above his hand, it’s to the right of his hand.  It just moves all over.

Eureka – Blink

December 28, 2007 //  by editor

If someone could explain to me this…  How on God’s green earth did Carter see the biometric subcutaneous computer chip when the body was cover in all that dirt and debris and yuck?  Seriously.

Eureka – Dr. Nobel

December 28, 2007 //  by editor

Here’s one that I think might be an error, but it could be explained otherwise.  In Dr. Nobel, after Dr. Thatcher has gotten Stark’s Nobel everyone gathers in the room with the MAD machine.  Stark, Allison, Carter, Fargo, Eugenia and Henry (Henry was wearing his coverall’s under his university robes (serious, check.)) are all still in the dress clothes that they were wearing at the presentation.  Dr. Thatcher has changed into the clothes he was wearing before he changed into the tux for the presentation of the Nobel.   Here’s 2 options on why Dr. Thatcher wasn’t wearing a tux at the end of the episode.

  1. When they went back to get his “crew” he changed his clothes.  But honestly would they have had time for him to change out of his tux?
  2. Ooooops.  They got the costume wrong.

 You choose.

Eureka – Invincible

December 28, 2007 //  by editor

When Allison comes into the Sheriff’s Office and asks Jack why he’s avoiding the physical.  Is it only me or wouldn’t one expect a more technologically advanced pencil sharpener?  It’s an old fashioned mechanical pencil sharpener!  But I love the look he gives Allison over his shoulder as he’s sharpening his pencil.

Eureka – Right as Raynes

December 28, 2007 //  by editor

Ok.  When Callister Raynes is in Cafe Diem watch the volume of water in his pitcher.  It’s up it’s down, it’s up, it’s down.

Eureka – Before I Forget

December 28, 2007 //  by editor

It’s fun to watch the job tags on Henry’s coveralls.  In the Pilot these tags aren’t on his coveralls, and he has a little logo for his garage name on his coveralls.  But starting in Many Happy Returns Henry has these little tags on his coveralls.  As a matter of fact that’s one of 2 episodes where you see him change the job (from Forensics to Coroner (Board certified) in MHR).  The other episode where you see him change the tag is Before I Forget (from Mechanic to Ballistics).  But if you look when he’s in the cafe with Carter & Jo, the tag changes from Ballistics to Mechanic.

Eureka – SARAH

December 28, 2007 //  by editor

By now everyone who is a fan knows that Neil Grayston, who plays Douglas Fargo, is the voice of SARAH (Self-Actuated Residential Automated Habitat). Wouldn’t it just be way to cool to have a SARAH?  I asked for one for Christmas this year.  Didn’t get it.  Maybe next year.

Eureka – Alienated

December 28, 2007 //  by editor

Ok.  Here’s my 1st continuity error.  When Carter, Lupo & Henry are looking for Spencer and they see the blood.  If he only cut one foot isn’t the blood awful close together?  And if he cut two… isn’t the blood too lined up?  Ok.  Just too much watching of Eureka!
