Hero\u2019s Journal Bubbles Fan FICTION<\/p>\n

This is a work of fiction<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 It is entirely a product of my imagination.\u00a0 Well, other than the people. The places are mostly real, too. However, the circumstances are entirely FICTIONAL.\u00a0 And time is an illusion.<\/p>\n ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<\/p>\n Nick woke up giddy with excitement. Today was the day that everyone would know what Bubbles was.\u00a0 But what if no one really liked it? Ryan had been waiting for 2 years for this.\u00a0 Nick was suddenly nervous.<\/p>\n He knew Kyle was up because he could smell the coffee.\u00a0 Nick quickly threw on some clothes and his orange good luck hat and went into the kitchen.\u00a0 \u201cWhat if they don\u2019t like it?\u201d Nick said to Kyle without saying good morning.<\/p>\n Kyle looked up from his bowl of cereal perplexed.\u00a0 \u201cWhat?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBubbles.\u00a0 What if they don\u2019t like Bubbles?\u201d Nick said.<\/p>\n \u201cOh. Right\u201d Kyle said and then frowned.\u00a0 He hadn\u2019t thought of that.\u00a0 They had been so busy getting IstoricCon together he hadn\u2019t really thought of people\u2019s reaction to Bubbles.\u00a0 \u201cThey will like it\u201d Kyle said with more confidence than he felt.\u00a0 \u201cI mean we have a huge number of Star Wars fans in the HQ and the Bubbles Raiders seem to really like it.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYeah,\u201d Nick said slightly relieved.\u00a0 They had liked it a lot.\u00a0 Ryan had brought it with him when they met in Detroit.\u00a0 The Raiders had grabbed the box and had really liked it.\u00a0 Nick and Kyle has sworn them to secrecy.<\/p>\n Bert wandered into the kitchen and grabbed a cup of coffee.\u00a0 \u201cWe are all set up and ready to go.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWhat if they don\u2019t like it?\u201d Kyle blurted out.<\/p>\n Bert looked confused. \u201cIstoriaCon? I think they people who signed up are going to love it.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNo. Bubbles.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOhhhhhh,\u201d Bert said and shrugged.\u00a0 \u201cI think everyone is going to like it.\u00a0 I mean how hard was it to get the girls to give it back?\u201d\u00a0 Bert chuckled at the thought and walked out of the kitchen to make sure the tech was ready.\u00a0 IstoriaCon was due to start soon.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s right,\u201d Nick said.\u00a0 \u201cWe did have a hard time getting Bubbles back.\u00a0 Especially form LL.\u00a0 I thought we were going to have to tackle her.\u201d\u00a0 Nick chuckled.\u00a0 It would be alright.<\/p>\n Bert appeared at the kitchen door. \u201cLet\u2019s get this party started.\u201d<\/p>\n ~~~~~<\/p>\n As the people wandered around the IstoriaCon Nick sighed with relief.\u00a0 Even though there had been some technical issues with muting everyone seemed really excited about the LOI revamp.\u00a0 And everyone seem to enjoy the Gather.Town platform as well. They had worked hard on IstoriaCon.\u00a0 He texted Kyle. \u201cThat went well.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYeah,\u201d Kyle texted back.<\/p>\n As the second presentation started Nick and Kyle met in the kitchen.\u00a0 \u201cSo far so good. Everyone seems really excited about the LOI revamp,\u201d Nick said.<\/p>\n \u201cThey do.\u00a0 Hopefully that means they will like Bubbles.\u201d Kyle said.\u00a0 He was still anxious about Bubbles.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s no sense in worrying about it now,\u201d Nick said trying to reassure himself.<\/p>\n ~~~~~<\/p>\n As the time approached to reveal Bubbles both Nick and Kyle got more and more nervous.\u00a0 Ryan texted Nick. \u201cSo far so good.\u00a0 What if they don\u2019t like Bubbles?\u201d<\/p>\n Nick knew Ryan would be crushed.\u00a0 This was the journal he\u2019d been waiting to put out.\u00a0 \u201cThey will like it,\u201d Nick texted back. \u201cDon\u2019t worry.\u201d Now if he could just convince himself.<\/p>\n Ryan looked at the text.\u00a0 He was worried.\u00a0 This was what he had wanted to do almost from the beginning and it had been pushed back and pushed back.<\/p>\n Kyle texted John. \u201cI\u2019m nervous. What if they don\u2019t like Bubbles?<\/p>\n John texted back. \u201cThey will love it. Everything has been going really well and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves.\u00a0 It will be fine.\u201d<\/p>\n Kyle looked at John\u2019s text.\u00a0 Leave it to John to be the calm voice of reason.<\/p>\n ~~~~~<\/p>\n All too soon it was time for the Bubbles doors to be opened.\u00a0 Nick, Kyle, Ryan, Bert and John were nervous.\u00a0 This was it.<\/p>\n John unlocked the doors and all the avatars streamed through into the Bubbles area.\u00a0 It was pretty comical to watch.\u00a0 The Hero\u2019s Staff watch nervously as John cued up the video.<\/p>\n Nick watched with anticipation as everyone watched the short video.\u00a0 And it was done.\u00a0 Bubbles had been revealed as Galaxy of Istoria.\u00a0 The Con participants chattered excitedly. \u201cI want one\u201d was heard repeatedly.\u00a0 Nick, Kyle and Ryan sighed with relief.<\/p>\n \u201cDo we want to show them more?\u201d Kyle\u2019s voice cut across the exited chatter.<\/p>\n Nick agreed, \u201cyeah we should” as the Con participants clamored for more. Nick just loved spilling beans with the Hero\u2019s and everyone had the reaction he had hope for.<\/p>\n Ryan joined Nick on stage to show some of his art and the journal that they had held onto for so long. \u00a0The LOI revamp was a success and the GOI looked like it would be too.<\/p>\n ~~~~~<\/p>\n It has been a long day.\u00a0 Nick, Kyle and Bert sat at the kitchen table eating pizza.<\/p>\n \u201cThat went well,\u201d Kyle said.<\/p>\n Nick nodded in agreement.\u00a0 \u201cYeah. I was hoping for more people, but everyone who was at the Con seemed to enjoy themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe Bubbles Raiders acting was good,\u201d Bert said.\u00a0 Nick and Kyle chuckled.\u00a0 The Raiders had all acted just as surprised as everyone else.<\/p>\n They continued to eat in silence.\u00a0 After they were done, Kyle stood up and stretched. \u201cI am beat.\u00a0 It was a good day.\u00a0 I\u2019ll see you guys tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSee you tomorrow,\u201d Nick and Bert said together as they watched Kyle head off.<\/p>\n Bert got up and threw the empty pizza box away.\u00a0 \u201cSee you later,\u201d he said to Nick.<\/p>\n \u201cYeah, see you later,\u201d Nick said to Bert.\u00a0 Nick agreed with Kyle: he was fatigued, but happy.\u00a0 Nick sat at the table a little longer running through the Con in his head.\u00a0 He had some ideas for next year.\u00a0 He grabbed his journal and wrote them down.\u00a0 That was enough for today.\u00a0 Nick grabbed the book he was reading and headed off to his room to read and decompress.\u00a0 They had made a lot of people happy.\u00a0 It had been a good day.<\/p>\n ~~~~~<\/p>\n And that is what Nick, Kyle, Ryan, Bert and John went through yesterday.\u00a0 Or maybe it was all in my head. \u00a0Maybe the Bubbles Raiders knew.\u00a0 Maybe we didn\u2019t.\u00a0 I will never tell!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hero\u2019s Journal Bubbles Fan FICTION ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a work of fiction.\u00a0 It is entirely a product of my imagination.\u00a0 Well, other than the people.
