Hero\u2019s Journal Bubbles Fan FICTION<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n This is a work of fiction<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 It is entirely a product of my imagination.\u00a0 Well, other than the people. The places are mostly real. However, the circumstanced are entirely FICTIONAL.\u00a0 And time is an illusion.<\/p>\n ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<\/p>\n The Bubbles Raiders hugged and said good-bye. Bubbles had been found and it was time to go their separate ways.<\/p>\n When they tuned into Free Journal Friday, they giggle to themselves.\u00a0 Their FJF had been Tuesday.\u00a0 When Bubbles came up. they waited to see what Nick would spill, because everyone know Nick can\u2019t hold his beans.\u00a0 Smiling devilishly Kyle said they wouldn\u2019t spill what Bubbles was, but it was in Michigan.<\/p>\n Wait! What?! KYLE!!!! MICHIGAN!!\u00a0 The DM\u2019s and texts started \u201cMichigan?!\u201d \u201cKyle?\u201d \u201cOMG\u201d \u201cCrap\u201d \u201cWhat is in Michigan?\u201d \u201cRoad Trip\u201d The Bubbles they had found had been a decoy!<\/p>\n An emergency Discord meeting was called, bucket lists were adjusted, and plans were made.\u00a0 The Bubbles Raiders were off to Michigan.<\/p>\n LL texted the group from the plane, just before she had to turn her phone off, \u201cK, N & Z just got on the plane!\u201d\u00a0 Eeeeep! They were headed to Michigan too!<\/p>\n The Bubbles Raiders had agreed to meet at the Courtyard in Detroit.\u00a0 LL texted when she landed \u201cAngela & I are going to follow the Lads to see where they go.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 Angela texted back that Mirjam was still in the air and wouldn\u2019t be landing for another hour. Tacie texted that she had rented the conference room so that could spread out and plan comfortably. Skye & Cheyenne sent thumbs up. Illisa & Melissa laughingly texted they still had bail money ready.<\/p>\n \u201cOMG!\u201d LL texted after about 30 minutes.\u00a0 \u201cThey just pulled into the Courtyard!\u201d<\/p>\n This gave Tacie and idea. She hopped the Shock Yellow ZL1 she had rented and headed to Saneki Electronics for spy equipment. \u00a0She couldn\u2019t come to the home of the American Muscle car and not rent one. \u00a0This had just gotten easier.\u00a0 Opening up the ZL1, Tacie realized the car was limited and top speed was out of the question.\u00a0 \u201cDamn\u201d she cursed to herself.\u00a0 After buying the spy equipment she texted the group \u201cMeet me in conference room 1A, I have an idea.\u201d<\/p>\n When the group met, Tacie laid out the revised plan.\u00a0 Because the Lads were all here, all they had to do was bug the room and then \u201cloan\u201d it to the Lads.\u00a0 \u201cHopefully they will do all their planning in here and we can just sit back and listen.\u201d Tacie explained.<\/p>\n The Bubbles Raiders agreed.\u00a0 Cables were run, cameras where placed, microphones were hidden.\u00a0 It was time to test the set up.\u00a0 Angela. Cheyenne & Mirjam went up to the new suite that had been rented to start the test.\u00a0 Everything worked like a charm from the outset.\u00a0 Tacie went to the front desk and asked them to tell Kyle, Nick & Zach that conference room 1A was now theirs.<\/p>\n Everyone gathered in the suite as a perplexed Kyle, Nick and Zach walked into the conference room.\u00a0 \u201cHey! This is going to work,\u201d Kyle said.\u00a0 Laptops, papers and journals were spread out on the conference room table.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat time is Ryan supposed to be here?\u201d Zach asked looking at this watch.<\/p>\n \u201c4\u201d Nick replied.<\/p>\n \u201cWhere are we going for dinner?\u201d Zach asked.<\/p>\n \u201cRyan has a place in mind.\u201d Nick said.<\/p>\n \u201cOh no no no no no!\u201d was the collective response from the Bubbles Raiders.\u00a0 The HJ Lads needed to plan in the room.<\/p>\n Cheyenne did a quick search and found a Chinese place that would deliver.\u00a0 Food was ordered for both groups to be delivered at 5:00.\u00a0 Skye threw on the headphones and started listening as the Lads started talking.\u00a0 Watching from the suite, the Raiders saw Ryan join the group.<\/p>\n Skye pull off the headphone and shushed the Raiders. \u201cThey just started talking about Bubbles.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSo where, like, do you think we should hold this?\u201d Nick asked.<\/p>\n Perplexed looks were exchanged by the Raiders. \u201cHold what?\u201d asked Mirjam.\u00a0 Everyone shrugged.<\/p>\n \u201cHow about the geographical center of the continuous US?\u201d suggested Zach.\u00a0 \u201cIt\u2019s at 39\u00b050\u2032N 98\u00b035\u2032W\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNo way!\u201d Kyle said.\u00a0 \u201cThere is literally, like, nothing around.\u201d\u00a0 The Lads continued to bounce ideas around.<\/p>\n \u201cHow many people want to come again?\u201d Nick asked Kyle. The Raiders giggled and all raised their hands.<\/p>\n \u201cSo far we have 237 interested.\u201d Kyle replied after consulting the Facebook poll.<\/p>\n \u201cWait!\u201d Mirjam peered at one of the computer screens.\u00a0 \u201cThat\u2019s the Facebook poll for the HeroCon! They are actually planning to do it! HeroCon is Bubbles?!\u201d<\/p>\n Just then, John walked into the conference room. \u201cSorry I\u2019m late. Stupid flight was delayed. What did I miss?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNot much.\u00a0 We are still, like, trying to come up with a location.\u201d Nick said.<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019ll need a place with some inexpensive hotels and also some place that has some sightseeing.\u201d Ryan said.<\/p>\n \u201cVegas would be fun.\u201d Zach suggested.\u00a0 They all nodded, but ended up deciding against it.<\/p>\n \u201cHow about Kirkland?\u201d Kyle finally suggested.<\/p>\n \u201cKirkland?\u201d Nick asked.<\/p>\n \u201cYeah.\u00a0 Hear me out.\u00a0 It\u2019s home for us, so if we need to get something it\u2019s not, like going to be that far away. There are plenty of hotels and conference centers and there\u2019s enough site seeing if anyone wants to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n Nick looked thoughtful. \u201cWe could run a bus into Seattle for a trip.\u201d<\/p>\n Zach, John & Ryan nodded in agreement.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd we could have small group tours of our offices.\u00a0 I know there are people who, like, want to see our set up.\u201d Kyle continued.<\/p>\n \u201cBedrooms are off limited, though,\u201d Zach added.\u00a0 They all nodded in agreement.<\/p>\n \u201cSo now, like, we need Ryan to draw us up a HeroCon \u2013 is that what we are calling it? \u2013 logo.\u201d Nick said. \u201cAnd we need to put together ideas for a registration bag.\u00a0 I wish we could talk to Angela.\u201d<\/p>\n With that there was a knock on the Raiders door. It was the Chinese.\u00a0 \u201cYou soooooo have to take that to them,\u201d Cheyenne said.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m going with you!\u201d said Mirjam.<\/p>\n \u2018We\u2019ll all go,\u201d stated LL.\u00a0 \u201cBut Angela goes in first.\u201d<\/p>\n The Raiders grabbed the bags of food and trooped down to the conference room.\u00a0 Skye knocked.<\/p>\n Looking confused Kyle asked, \u201care we expecting someone else?\u201d\u00a0 Everyone shrugged and shook their heads no.<\/p>\n Nick walked to the door and opened it. \u201cI heard you needed me,\u201d Angela said.\u00a0 \u201cI brought Chinese and friends.\u201d\u00a0 The Raiders stepped into the room stunning the Lads.<\/p>\n \u201cWe can keep a secret,\u201d LL said.<\/p>\n \u201cLet\u2019s plan!\u201d Tacie said.\u00a0 \u201cAnd eat.\u00a0 We brought Chinese.\u201d<\/p>\n Reading the bag, \u201cthat\u2019s one of the best places,\u201d Ryan said.\u00a0 \u201cHow did you get them to deliver?\u201d<\/p>\n Tacie just smiled. \u201cMagic.\u201d<\/p>\n And so that my dear friends is what Bubbles is.<\/p>\n Or is it?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The Search for Bubbles Wait!
