{"id":1475,"date":"2010-08-15T20:56:27","date_gmt":"2010-08-16T00:56:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/taciej.com\/blog\/?p=1475"},"modified":"2010-08-15T20:56:27","modified_gmt":"2010-08-16T00:56:27","slug":"fly-fly-go-away","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/taciej.com\/blog\/fly-fly-go-away\/","title":{"rendered":"Fly Fly Go AWAY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The good news about the wonderfully cool weather we are having is we can open the windows so the cats can come and go as the please.\u00a0 Which means we don&#8217;t have to get up every 2 seconds to let a cat in the window or open the window above the bed all night long as cats come &amp; go.\u00a0 David has taught them if they bang at the window &#8211; no matter what time of day or night &#8211; we will let them in.<\/p>\n<p>But the bad news is with the windows open, and the screens up, the FLIES get in too! God they are annoying.\u00a0 Because there&#8217;s nothing for them to eat, they like to land on me, the computer, the sleeping cats. And they tickle.\u00a0 So\u00a0 here I sit, with my can of Raid Flying Insect killer zapping away.\u00a0 And it smells a bit like tart apples, so it&#8217;s not completely unpleasant.<\/p>\n<p>And I&#8217;m somewhat annoyed at this group of cats.\u00a0 Flies are the ULTIMATE toy\/treat.\u00a0 I had a cat that used to chase flies, play them to death and then eat them.\u00a0 Toy and then treat.\u00a0 This group can&#8217;t seem to be bothered.\u00a0 They are just too lazy! We should stop feeding them for a week or two. Then they&#8217;d be thrilled to have a nice bit of juice fly.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s my whine of the day &#8211; Flies.
