First … DON’T PANIC. Getting started with Happy Planner (HP from now on) and planner journals can be overwhelming. Take a deep breath, have a piece of chocolate and plunge on.
I’ve never been able to keep a planner for more than, say a, month. But as the husband & I are traveling more, I needed to keep a calendar. I have my iPhone, but honestly that is so … calendar. My HP is more of a scrapbook than just a calendar. Or a picture journal with places for appointments. Either way, it’s fun and I hopefully will be able to keep it going. I’ll check back in a couple of months.
For those of you who are like me and don’t necessarily pay attention to your dye lots, this post is for you.
I never really pay too much attention to dye lot. Granted I do try to buy enough of the same dye lot to finish a project. But I usually say, if it looks the same then the dye lot isn’t too important. That can be horribly wrong.

This is my thoughts on Peaches & Creme cotton yarn by Elmore-Pisgah Inc. versus Sugar ‘n Cream by Lily. I tend use P&C more than SnC for 1 reason only – WalMart carries it and WalMart is close.
Personally I like SnC better. It’s softer. Other than that they knit up very similar. WalMart has limited colors, but they are very inexpensive and they are the closest to home. And with gas prices the way they are that makes it doubly cheap.
