I clung to 98 with a death grip because that was the last honest boot-to-Dos I'd get. and while there are a rare few things I prefer about Word (mostly in how it handles html - go figure) I started using "real" word processors with Word Perfect. Ok I get it... time to loose weight! What I realized I forgot to mention... is one of the main differences. People don't just sit quietly in the pews waiting for the service to end. It's actually a rather noisy service. There are a great deal of "Amens" and "Preach it" and "Hallelujahs." And people just don't sit. If there is something that you agree to... feel free to stand up. And there is a great deal of hand praising (aka applause). And if you have a tambourine... you can use that instead of clapping. And the Pastor will occassionally ask ... "Can I get an Amen?" And when the prayer is happening, people don't stop then. It's encourage to thank Jesus out loud as the prayer is being spoken. That is something that tends to freak out my Catholic friends. I did feel better until I ate. Ok I get it… time to loose weight!
