I’ve been over watching Season 2 now. I got if form Amazon.com UnBox. Kind of cool. I still want the DVD’s for the extras.
Anyway, Continuity error. If you look in the background just before Beverly Barlowe comes to Section 14, you can see the Army guys with the nuke. It’s not supposed to be in Section 14 yet. Allison doesn’t authorize the transfer until 2 scenes later, but it’s the same 5 guys, same box on the gator, same formation both before and after the nuke is supposed to get there.

When Taggart and Jo are shooting the sensor cams Taggart walks up to the cam and shoots it with pink paint. He was using yellow. So unless Taggart and Jo switched guns JUST prior to when they started shooting – the wrong color paint hit the sensor cam, it should have been yellow.

When Spencer, Henry, Carter & Zoe are in the town hall and Spencer is going to demonstrate his little speaker, Henry reacts before everyone else. To be nice, it’s because Henry knows what’s coming. To be naughty, Joe Morton reacts too soon. Let’s be nice.
Also, Spencer uses records? Not CD’s, not tapes, Records. When Carter asks Spencer to play something romantic, Spencer picks up a record.

This continuity error has a valid reason behind it. The error is when Brian and Nanuk are in the RV and Nanuk is growling at the break down in the laws of physics. In the wide shot you can see both Nanuk and Brian, but in the close up of Nanuk you can only see the dog, but should be able to see Brian’s shoulder. They were in close proximity. The reason Brian isn’t in the shot is safety. You don’t want a child that close to a snarling dog. Even if it is just acting.

Badge continuity. When Carter is stuck to the fence at Osbourne’s Farm watch his badge which is somewhere around his left hand. It’s above is hand, it’s way above his hand, it’s to the right of his hand. It just moves all over.

Here’s one that I think might be an error, but it could be explained otherwise. In Dr. Nobel, after Dr. Thatcher has gotten Stark’s Nobel everyone gathers in the room with the MAD machine. Stark, Allison, Carter, Fargo, Eugenia and Henry (Henry was wearing his coverall’s under his university robes (serious, check.)) are all still in the dress clothes that they were wearing at the presentation. Dr. Thatcher has changed into the clothes he was wearing before he changed into the tux for the presentation of the Nobel. Here’s 2 options on why Dr. Thatcher wasn’t wearing a tux at the end of the episode.

It’s fun to watch the job tags on Henry’s coveralls. In the Pilot these tags aren’t on his coveralls, and he has a little logo for his garage name on his coveralls. But starting in Many Happy Returns Henry has these little tags on his coveralls. As a matter of fact that’s one of 2 episodes where you see him change the job (from Forensics to Coroner (Board certified) in MHR). The other episode where you see him change the tag is Before I Forget (from Mechanic to Ballistics). But if you look when he’s in the cafe with Carter & Jo, the tag changes from Ballistics to Mechanic.

Ok. Here’s my 1st continuity error. When Carter, Lupo & Henry are looking for Spencer and they see the blood. If he only cut one foot isn’t the blood awful close together? And if he cut two… isn’t the blood too lined up? Ok. Just too much watching of Eureka!

I am a big Eureka fan. I remember when they were plugging the series. I thought it looked interesting, but had potential to be dumb. But boy was I wrong. I have the DVD of Season 1 and pop it in the DVD player when ever I need a little back ground distraction. In other words, I over watch Season 1. Coming in following posts are things that I’ve found. Continuity error and just other random stuff. By the way… there are probably spoilers if you’ve never watched.
